Felix Karlsson Your favorite Creative Director's favorite Creative Director

Felix is a writer, boxer, bowler, reader, rider, Zamrock stan, former mini-golf champion, and current president of a motorcycle book club.

Whether this reflects a healthy inner life or severe commitment issues is a hotly debated topic at any family gathering.

Anyhow.

Felix began his career at Droga5 New York, where he helped launch the Pixel, end a nationwide blood shortage, and brutally murder the Bud Knight—leaving 125 million witnesses.

After gouging out the eyes of one of corporate America's most beloved mascots, he sought refuge out west. There, while at BBH, he created Exposure, a reality television show made in partnership with Samsung and Hulu.

For the last five years, Felix has worked at TBWA\Media Arts Lab, where Apple has been his one and only client (take that commitment issues!). He has since launched more iPhones than there are people who watched that last Coppola movie.

Before arriving in the U.S., Felix also made waves in Sweden—his country of origin, according to both his accent and the government—by helping a bank turn one of its branches into a place where asylum seekers and newcomers could learn Swedish. It was a rare instance of a bank helping people acquire something without charging interest.

Felix's work has been recognized by every major advertising award show and is included in MoMA's permanent collection. His honors include AICP Film Craft of the Year, a Grand Clio, an Emmy nomination, a Cannes Lions Titanium shortlist, and the Media Arts Lab Ping-Pong Championship.
